Description

Watching brief A watching brief was carried out subsequent to the finding of four human bones in a narrow machine cut. Although contractors could identify the location of the bones, no grave or grave cut was visible. No further bone was recovered elsewhere in the trench or was visible in the spoil-heap. The human bone may relate to an Roman burial ,either one that was isolated, or one located in a widely dispersed cemetery. NMR information: no further description provided
