Archaeological excavation carried out by students at the University of York and residents of the Arc Light Homeless shelter in York The excavation that was performed in the Bootham Park hospital grounds. The project aims to provide a fresh perspective both to Archaeological study and the way in which we understand our communities today, through the use of archaeological techniques on contemporary issues. The project forms part of Rachael Kiddey’s PhD research at the University of York
