Description

In the course of this watching brief, a small trench was examined. This revealed a medieval stone wall that follows the course of the parish boundary that separated Holy Trinity Priory from that of St Mary Bishophill Junior. The wall may have formed part of the south-eastern boundary wall of the Holy Trinity Priory. NMR source: York Archaeological Trust annual report) 13,60,64 29/2000-2001
