PROJECT DETAILS
An archaeological watching brief was carried out during groundworks associated with new Portakabin accommodation. A total of 96 pits, each measuring 1m2, were monitored, revealing a consistent sequence of clayey-sand subsoil, cut by a modern drainage system and sealed by topsoil. No features of archaeological significance were encountered.
