Description

Trench measuring 4m x 1m at the rear of a property which stands on the corner of Blossom St and South Parade. The earliest deposits were dated by pottery to the Roman period. Succedding deposits were dated to the medieval period or later. RCHME microfilm PRN 4445. Two entries for this in NMR. York Archaeological Trust annual report /1991-92/24
