Terrace of 12 houses. c1865. No.1 of unpainted stucco. Nos 2-12 of red brick with white brick arches and sill courses, and stone copings. Slate roofs. EXTERIOR: 2 storeys with attics. The windows are sashed without glazing bars. No.1 has rusticated quoins, a shaped gable with finial, and a 1st floor sill band. On the ground floor there is a timber canted bay window which has moulded window openings, and a frieze with dentils and raised panels below a hipped roof. On the 1st floor there are 2 adjacent round-headed windows with moulded surrounds, and the attic has a single similar window. Set back to the left there is one 2-storey bay which has a round-headed window above a passageway door with 6 panels and a plain semicircular overlight. Set back to the right there is a bay of 2 storeys plus attic with a round-headed window at 1st floor level and an attic dormer with finial, shaped bargeboards, and a cusped triangular light above a casement with 2 round-headed lights. On the ground floor there is a door with 6 recessed panels (3 over 3) and a plain semicircular overlight. Nos 2-12 are almost identical to each other and are of exposed brickwork. The gabled projections are similar to No.1, with a timber canted bay window on the ground floor, paired round-headed windows on the 1st floor, and a single round-headed window to the attic. The windows have yellow brick sill bands, and arches with semicircular intrados and 2-centred extrados. Each has an entrance bay set back to the right, with 6-panel door, round-headed 1st floor window, and an attic dormer similar to that to No.1.
