Four burials and associated grave yard soils were recorded during the watching brief. The burials are thought to be part of the medieval cemetery of St. Edward's Church. This is supported by the presence of further burials at 31 Lansdowne Terrace. The occurrence of a modern deposit directly over the graveyard soil indicates that any post-graveyard deposits were removed during clearance prior to the construction of the extant 19th century houses.
