Abstract/Summary
In January 2004 York Archaeological Trust carried out an archaeological watching brief at 12-
13 The Avenue, Clifton. A possible Roman pit was encountered in the southern part of the site. However, observations during the watching brief revealed that the majority of the site had been terraced and the archaeology truncated.
