Abstract/Summary
An archaeological evaluation comprising a single trench was undertaken by Archaeological
Services WYAS at Ashbank House, Shipton Road, York. The evaluation encountered a ditch
containing a large piece of wood, a glass bottle, pottery and ceramic building material, all
likely to be post-medieval in date. No other archaeological features were present.
