Abstract/Summary
An Archaeological Watching Brief was carried out during the erection of a detached dwelling and double garage and all associated ground works in the garden of Hillcroft and during the erection of a new garage.
The work was undertaken in a several stages commencing in June 2007 and completed in May 2008.
No archaeological features or deposits were encountered but three sherds of pottery dating to the Roman and medieval period were
collected.
