5/52 Barn at Rufforth Grange approximately 20 metres south-east of farmhouse
II
Barn and gin gang. Mid C18 barn and early C19 gin gang. Brick in English garden wall bond and pantile roofs, that to gin gang collapsed. 6-bay barn with gin gang to east side. Full-height double doors to fourth bay flanked by 3 rows of paired vents. Gin gang to second and third bays. Raised gables. Left gable end largely rebuilt. Interior: collar and tie-beam principal rafter roof with 2 rows of butt purlins. Inserted brick pillars support tie-beams to second and third bays on east side. Gin gang derelict at time of resurvey. Granary to right not of special interest.
