Full Description

Maltkiln, No. 42a, now used as a store, is a large single-storey building with brick walls, roofed in two spans. It was described as new-built in a conveyance of 1772. A second maltkiln behind Nos. 36 and 38 was demolished c. 1796.

Originally a malt kiln now a tyre store, this is a long building of one-storey. The building is constructed of brick and is of mid 18th century date.
