Full Description

SE60225191. A Roman interval tower (SW3 on the key plan), is situated under Border's shop, Coney Street, where a fragment of walling is incorporated in the cellar wall. Excavated in 1939. (1)

[Tower SW4 has not been discovered but is a conjectural location.]

Siting confirmed but inspection of the remains not possible. (2)
