Monument record MYO4652 - YORK CITY WALLS (TOWER 16)

Summary

A demi-hexagonal tower, part of the city walls, built in the 14th-early 15th centuries and restored in the 1830s. Externally this appears to be the least altered tower of its type in York. The central arrow slit has been altered internally, perhaps to take firearms.
