NMR Information:

K6 Telephone Box, Wetherby Road. The K6 was designed by Sir Giles Gilbert Scott in 1935, it has a standardised design made of cast iron, painted red overall with long horizontal glazing in door and sides and with the crowns situated on the top panels being applied not perforated. There are rectangular white display signs, reading TELEPHONE beneath the shallow-curved roof. It has modernised internal equipment.
The phone box was assessed for listing in 2009, but did not meet the criteria for addition to the list for the following reasons:
The listed structures in the vicinity do not form a closely associated visual group.
Its setting and location are not of special interest in the national context. (1)
