Full Description

House and shop, now shop. Mid C19 with late C19 shopfront. Orange-grey brick in Flemish bond, rear and left side in English garden-wall bond, right side rendered; timber shopfront and guttering; slate roof with brick stack. EXTERIOR: 3-storey 1-window front. Shopfront framed in part grooved pilasters, sloped fascia and moulded cornice between carved terminal brackets with gablet caps: door and window are plate glass with transom and overlight, and cast-iron Doric column behind window. Upper floor windows are 12-pane sashes with painted stone sills and cambered brick arches. Eaves frieze band and modillioned guttering. Rear has 16-pane sashes with brick sills and arches on first and second floors. INTERIOR: not inspected. Included for group value as an integral part of Goodramgate.
