Full Description

House. c1845-50. Brick with slate roof. EXTERIOR: 3 storeys plus cellar. 2 bays. At cellar level there is a canted bay window with glazing bar sashes. At ground floor level there is a similar timber window which has sashes with large square panes. Above, a cornice hood extends the full width of the facade. At 1st floor level there is a timber canted bay window which is sashed and has a cornice. To its right there is a tall narrow sash without glazing bars. At 2nd floor level there are 2 glazing bar sashes. The doorway, at the right, has Tuscan pilasters below the cornice hood, panelled reveals, a 4-panel door, and a plain rectangular overlight. Chimneys in front of ridge at left and shared at right. INTERIOR: not inspected. (RCHME: City of York: London: 1972-: 126).
