Full Description

Two houses. Mid C19. Painted brick. Slate roof. EXTERIOR: 2 storeys. No.46 one bay; No.44 one bay plus 2nd bay above carriageway to right. No.44 has a sashed single-storey canted bay window on a brick base. The other windows are sashed with segmental brick arches and non-functional louvred shutters. The doorway to No.46, at the left, has a doorcase with a cornice carried on fluted brackets, an overlight with margin panes, and a door with 2 tall round-headed panels. The doorway to No.44, at the right, is similar, but has plain brackets and a plain overlight. Above the carriageway to the right there is a timber lintel. The timber gutter is carried on shaped brackets. Chimneys on ridge between houses and in front of ridge to right. INTERIOR: not inspected.
