Description
The main purpose of the trial pit investigation was to locate any tree root activity and assess the potential of archaeological deposits that may be affected during the works.
No finds or features of archaeological significance were discovered within the four test pits, although the test pits were not excavated deeper than the topsoil or subsoil.
