Geophysical survey on land south of Elvington Airfield. Magnetic survey at Brinkworth Rush did not reveal any anomalies that are clearly indicative of archaeological features. The majority of the features identified appear to be associated with recent landuse, associated with the airfield. The group of irregular, positive magnetic responses recorded in the eastern part of Area B are most likely to represent geological features, although an archaeological origin cannot be entirely ruled out.
