House, now offices. 1827-8 with late C19 alterations. Mottled           brick with red brick additions and some painted stone           dressings. Slate roof.           EXTERIOR: 2 storeys above basement. 2 bays. At the right there           is a late C19 canted bay window with a slate roof, painted           stone lintels, and with sashes at ground-floor and basement           level. The right-hand side opening at basement level is blind.           The 1st floor windows are glazing bar sashes with a sill band.           The doorway, at the left, is reached by a flight of external           stone and concrete steps. The doorcase has engaged fluted           columns, a frieze with triglyphs, and a mutuled cornice. The           door has 6 raised and fielded panels and the semicircular           overlight has 3 vertical divisions. Rectangular timber           brackets support a plastic gutter. Axial chimney behind ridge.           INTERIOR: not inspected.
