Description

YORK SE5951SW MOUNT PARADE 1112-1/19/754 (North East side) 19/08/71 No.9 (Formerly Listed as: MOUNT PARADE Nos.1-4, 5-18 (Consecutive)) GV II House. 1829-30. Brick with painted stone or stucco dressings. Slate roof. EXTERIOR: 2 storeys above a cellar. 2 bays. The windows have painted rusticated lintels with keystones and segmental soffits. They are glazing bar sashes except for the cellar window, which is a C20 casement with glazing bars. The 1st floor windows have a sill band. The doorcase, in the right-hand bay, has engaged fluted Doric columns, 2 bukrania on the frieze, and a cornice which has mutules with guttae. Above the door, which has 6 raised and fielded panels, there is a fanlight. Shared chimneys to left and right. INTERIOR: not inspected.
