Houses, now house and guesthouses. Mid C19. Brick with some painted stone dressings. Slate roof. EXTERIOR: 3 storeys with basement and attic. No.67, at the right, has a 2-storey sashed canted bay window at the left, set on a panel of brickwork and with a cornice and a 1st floor sill band. The base contains a cellar window with glazing bars and a stone lintel and mullions. To the right on the 1st floor, above the doorway, there is a sashed window with segmental brick arch. On the 2nd floor above there is a narrower window with a similar arch, sashed with 4 over 4 panes. Above the bay window there are 2 similar windows. The doorway has panelled pilaster strips, console brackets supporting a cornice hood, and panelled reveals. Above the 4-panel door there is an overlight with segmental top. No.65 forms a mirrored pair with No.67 and has more elaborate console brackets to its doorway. No.63 repeats the details of No.67, except that instead of a doorway on the ground floor there is a sashed window. Modillioned gutter cornice. Chimneys in front of ridge to right of Nos 63 and 65. The left-hand return wall of No.63, facing East Mount Road, has sashed windows with segmental brick arches. In the centre there are paired windows at 1st floor, 2nd floor and attic levels, the latter within a gable treated as an open pediment. To each side there is one bay, the right-hand one with blind recesses on the ground and 1st floors. The central doorways have a painted stone or stucco pilaster surround with paired openings with segmental tops, and a cornice. Recessed within the entrances there are C20 doors. INTERIORS: not inspected. SUBSIDIARY FEATURES: the basement areas facing The Mount are enclosed by iron railings set on stone copings.
